The sponsorship agreement signed between Basketball Federation of Serbia and Roda will contribute to further development and promotion of the Serbian basketball that is recording success and wins significant awards both on world and European level , was said today on the occasion of sponsorship agreement signing in the premises of the Basketball Federation of Serbia. In this document it has been defined that Roda will support competitions in female and junior league in the following 3 years , as well as that this cooperation will spread on additional mutual projects and actions aiming to promote this sport. Also , in the course of this cooperation, Roda will support the construction terrain for 3×3 basket .
“ The fact is that the agreement on cooperation has been achieved even before amazing results made by our best women’s basketball players and Men’s U20 national team, confirms the RODA employees desire to help Serbian basketball in right way. I am particularly glad that this agreement has been signed on mutual satisfaction, and I am even more glad that it mostly refers to the support of our basketball future , creation off new men an women players that will continue to win trophies for Serbia “ said Andrija Kleut , vice-president of the Basketball federation , upon the agreement signing .
“ I am honored that RODA has become proud sponsor of Serbian basketball, after signing the agreement with Basketball Federation of Serbia, as I deeply believe that sport and sport activities are significant for a society , particularly the young” said Viktorija Radojevic, executive director of the marketing for Mercator –C and added : “ in this way we wanted , as socially responsible company, to give our contribution to the community in which we operate and through partnership relation with Basketball Federation of Serbia to help further development of the basketball, as well as to provide support to young talented players.
On this occasion, Roda and Basketball Federation of Serbia have announced some of important project among which is the opening of the exclusive shops “ Shop in Shop “ within Roda Megamarket around Serbia, where products of Basketball Federation of Serbia , sport equipment and branded articles , will be sold. Also , the possibility of summer basketball camps and tournament organization has been announces, aiming to promote sport , that is basketball among the young.
