Assembly is the highest organ of KSS

The Assembly consists of the Presidents of the Regional Basketball Associations, the respective delegates of the regional associations as well as the delegates – representatives of basketball associations. The Regional Basketball Associations with more than 15 (fifteen) registered clubs appoint one delegate each whereas those with evey next 15th registered club have the right to delegate one more assembly member – delegate. The delegates’ place of residence must be in the area of the Regional Basketball Association which has delegated them. One of the delegates from the Raska-Kosovo and Metohija Basketball Association must mandatorily be from the territory of Kosovo and Metohija.

The Assembly also consists of one delegate from the following associations:
• Association of the clubs of the First A Men’s League
• Association of Serbian Basketball Coaches
• Association of Basketball Referees of Serbia
• Association of Basketball Players (when registered according to the applicable regulations and verified by KSS Managing Board)
• Association of Women Basketball Players (when registered according to the applicable regulations and verified by KSS Managing Board)

The number of delegates is unchangeable for a period of 4 (four) years, that is, for a term of the General Assembly’s mandate, regardless of a change in the number of clubs in each Regional Basketball Association, or a change in the number and structure of associations.
