In the tonight’s ceremony in the national assembly hall of Republic Serbia in Belgrade the Olympic committee has named the most accomplished in 2022. On this ceremony Basketball Federation of Serbia was represented by the president Predrag Danilovic and secretary general, Zlatko Bolic.
On this ceremony, men’s 3×3 national team of Serbia has been named the most accomplished men’s team, which was deserved with the titles of the Europe champions and the World champions.
Dejan Majstorovic, Marko Brankovic, Mihailo Vasic and Strahinja Stojacic, led by the head coach Marko Zdero, last year the have won the WorldCup in Antwerp and Euro cup Graz.
The award was handed by the president of SOC , Mrs. Marija Desivojevic Cvetkovic
“A big season is behind us, we are more than satisfied with the way we have played for our countyr, we have won 2 gold medals… Of course the goal is Olympic games in Paris, I hope we continue to work in this way and that we will see each other here again next year” – said captain DejanMajstorovic.
Dejan Majstorovic was also one of the nominees for the most accomplished sportsman/sportswoman in the team sports for the 2022. which is a new award, and the first award winner is the volleyball player Tijana Boskovic.
