Predrag Danilovic , the President of BFS , along with Zlatko Bolic, Secretary General na Nenad Krstic, Vice-president for Men’s basketball, hosted Men U18 national team and coaching staff headed by Vladimir Djokic. Our national team won bronze medal in Izmir from the European Championship and thus secured placement for World Championship that is going to be played next summer.
Mr. Danilovic welcomed the players and coaching staff and said:
We know what happiness you feel, and I am sorry for the children who were not allowed to play in this team by their parents, managers, and club officials. I am sorry that they could not feel the happiness and joy that you feel now. I was you age long time ago and I know the feeling one has when the medal is won at that age. This will, probably, be one of the dearest medals for you in your future lives.
