Aleksandar Djordjevic, Head Coach of Serbian National Team , defined the final roster for European Championship that begins on September 5th. On one of the last trainings before departure for Berlin the head coach of our best basketball players , told Nemanja Dangubic and Vladimir Stimac, that they will not play on EuroBasket Men 2015.
- This was very hard decision, certainly one of the hardest. Nemanja Dangubic and Vladimir Stimac practiced and behaved in fantastic way from the very beginning of this preparation period. This time, again, it was the matter of shades . They have certainly proved that they are part of this team and that we can count on them in future. On the following EuroBasket Men 2015 Serbia will be represented by the following 12 basketball players: Milos Teodosic, the captain, Stefan Markovic, Nemanja Nedovic, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Dragan Milosavljevic, Nikola Kalinic, Marko Simonovic, Nemanja Bjelica, Zoran Erceg, Miroslav Raduljica, Ognjen Kuzmic and Nikola Milutinov.
On Thursday, Serbian basketball players set off for Berlin, where they paly the first round of EuroBasket Men, that is this year organized in France, Germany, Croatia and Latvia. On the beginning of the Championship , within group “B” Serbia plays against Spain ( September 5, at 18.00 ) Then follows the duels with Germany ( September 6 at 15.00) , Island ( September 8 at 14.30) , Turkey (September 9, at 14.30) and Italy (September 10 at 14.30) . First four ranked teams from all four groups , will qualify for the round that is to be played in French town Lille, upon elimination system from the round of 16.
