Women’s Veteran Basketball players have become European Champions in the categories 30+ and 35+ , as they have declassed Croatia with score 72:33 ( 18:6, 19:14, 19:7, 16:6 ) in the final game at 9th FIMBA Maxibasketball held in Novi Sad.

In the final game most valuable player in our team was Maksimovic Tuvic with 12 points, Sukovic and Andjelic scored 11, vidovic 9, Babic and Varda 8 each , Petkovic 6, Veselovska 5, Ostojic 3, and Maravic ,Lukic and Baki did not score any point. Branka Stojcevic was a coach of the champions.

Serbia was not defeated in any game during this competition, and in all games our team’s minimum advantage was 16. In our group Serbian team defeated Lithuania, Russia nad Ukraine, , and the game was followed with the winning dance performed by our women players. Women players expressed their gratitude to Basketball Federation of Serbia and Vice – President for Women’s basketball, Ana Jokovic, for all they have done to enable them to join this competition.
